Our Vision is to fulfil God's commands, found in the Bible:
- To Love God - " Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." (Deuteronomy 6:5)
To Love others in the Body of Christ - "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." (John13:34)
To Love our neighbours - "Love your neighbour as yourself." (Leviticus 19:18)
Our Values are the things that we put at the top of our list of priorities. They come out of our Vision and shape our worship, work and witness as a church:
- Jesus at the centre - We make sure that our love for Jesus is the inspiration and motivation for all that we do. True worship is key to our life as a church
- The Church as a loving community - We aim to be an inclusive community where everyone is made to feel welcome and valued, irrespective of their age, ethnic background, circumstances or life experiences
- Every member growing - The Bible speaks a lot about Christian believers growing in faith, godly wisdom and spiritual maturity, and becoming more like Jesus. Through the Sunday Bible preaching and teaching and the opportunity to be part of a small group, every member is challenged and equipped in their walk with God
- Every member serving - Every member of the Body of Christ has a ministry to the church and to the world. Church members are given the opportunity to discover the gifts God has given them, and to play their part in building the Kingdom of God
- Every member making Christ known to their neighbours - The Gospel of Jesus Christ is Good News to the world. We encourage everyone in the church to pray for their neighbours, to look for ways to show Christ's love through good neighbourliness and acts of kindness, and to share their faith in sensitive and appropriate ways
